Hien Nguyen Soprano radiates passion for opera

The program includes 2 parts: Classical vocal music with works by authors: Luigi Aridti - Il bacio (The Kiss ), Dang Huu Phuc - Winter Lullaby , Ernesto De Curtis – Torna a Surriento , J C. Gounod - Je veux vivre (I want to live) , Ernesto De Curtis – Non ti scordar di me , Paolo Tosti – Tristezza (Sadness) , Vincenzo Bellini – Ah! per sempre io ti perdei and Gioachino Rossini – Come un'ape ne' giorni d'aprile .
Part 2 is semi-classical works by authors such as Lara Fabian – Je t'aime (I love you) , Lucio Dalla - Caruso , Consuelo Velazquez - Besame mucho (Love you more) , Gianni Boncompagni - Parla piu piano (Speak softly) , Viet Anh - Dreaming of the City at Night , Cao Viet Bach - Spring Palace , La voce del Silenzio (I want to be alone) and Tran Tien - Love Story of the Steppe .
"Supported" by the elegant sound of Professor Gianni Kriscak, Hien Nguyen Soprano showed her poise in classical vocal performance and her burning passion for academic music.
Previously, she shared: having the teacher accompany her on this performance is both a great honor, but also a challenge in her performing career.

With this La Passione concert , Hien Nguyen Soprano also showed her ability to master the stage, improvising well with pianist and bass-baritone singer Quoc Dat. The artists together created a concert with a harmonious trio spirit, with many flavors: luxurious, relaxing and youthful.
After many efforts in making products, diversifying semi-classical styles, when performing two classic love songs Caruso and Je T'aime, Hien Nguyen Soprano once again truly conquered the listeners.
Bass-baritone Quoc Dat just won first prize in the 2023 chamber singing competition. Although it was his first duet with Hien Nguyen Soprano, the two had good duets on stage.
Always cherishing to contribute to classical music in Vietnam and become a bridge and representative to introduce Italian cultural heritage to the domestic art-loving public, Hien Nguyen always marks her artistic journey. with cultural exchange projects between Vietnam and Italy.
Before this performance, she launched the research book History of Italian Opera (I ) aimed at serving as a reference for professionals as well as the public who love this art form. The book examines the history of Italian Opera from its infancy to the early 18th century, edited by professor Gianni Kriscak and co-authored by Nguyen Thi Hien and Trinh Thi Oanh
